Antique silver plate lamp. The lamp is quality made from what we believe was a an antique epergne base. Worked out quite well as the branches are hollow and conceal the wiring and all they had to do was drill the bottom. We date the base circa 1880 legal antique. The base is quite interesting with hand chased twisting branches and fauna. It appears to have been poly coated at one time. The finish is even with no loss to the plating and great patina. We have the shade that was made to go with it which we think looks pretty good and is in decent shape. The lamp measures 32" tall 34" with silver plate finial. The base is 6" square. Truly a handsome piece.
