This large French oak buffet was previously stripped of its original finish, and a light greige wash has been applied to the piece, giving the wood a lighter tone while allowing the grain and other details to shine. The front doors do not lock, and have key pulls installed for opening the doors and tension latches have been added to secure the doors on the inside when pushed close. The bottom has carved trim that wraps around the sides and front, echoing the shape of the top, and appears to "float" above the floor due to the recessed legs beneath. The sides and the two doors at front also feature paneling details. The brass hardware and hinges on the doors are also quite beautiful, and original to the piece. The interior offers plenty of storage with a single shelf inside that is accessible from either door.

Measures 56"W x 23"D x 42"H. Top measures 53.3"W x 21"D. The bottom of the piece is wider than the top, so please note the measurements for the top are included for reference. This piece does have some wear and losses, mostly at the trim on the bottom. Surface wear was present prior to the wash finish and so may be visible in places, but this compliments the weathered look.

Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Surface wear and some minor losses. No locks, just latches. Key pulls to open doors. Some gaps in trim and discoloration in the inside of the piece, which was not refinished.
